HAIR WARRANTY

1) All True Hair, GOODHAIR and True Hair Exclusive extensions come with a 60 day guarantee against manufacturing defects. This does not include items sold on our Sale Page or Sales in shop on A. Caka street 33-17, Riga. All sale hair extensions are final sale and are not eligible for a return or refund or warranty.

2) After 60 days from the date of purchase the hair guarantee will be considered expired, no claims can be made after this time.

3) All merchandise claimed as defective must be sent back within 14 days. Our Quality Control team will inspect the hair and determine if the hair is in fact defective from manufacturing defects. Inform MELLA.LV LTD before sending back hair extensions, providing pictures and videos to info@mella.lv or Wapp +371 2044 8888.

*You must send back the hair to have it inspected in order, no exceptions.

4) In the event that the hair extension is deemed as defective we will then either issue a full credit to the account (Store Credit Only) or a partial credit. We reserve the right to determine how much of a credit shall be issued based on many factors such as usage and claim dates.

5) The warranty DOES NOT cover the following:

• Defects from improper application.
• Defects from improper use of the product (Not using proper hair care, coloring, cutting the wefts, etc)
• Defects from personal attempts to alter the extensions in any way from its original form.
• Excess use of heat and improper care of the extensions.

6) Certain colors will fade over time (all pastel colors, and red, blue, violet, silver colors). Fading on these colors will not be considered a manufacturer defect.

7) Hair wefts has short hair line at the top. This is not a manufacturer defect, this is how wefts are made in market.

8) Split or dry ends is not a manufacturer defect, hair ir natural.

MELLA.LV LTD DISCLAIMS ALL OTHER WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO ANY EXPRESS WARRANTIES, STATUTORY WARRANTIES, AND ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON INFRINGEMENT. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES WILL MELLA.LV LTD BE LIABLE OR RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL (INCLUDING DAMAGES FROM LOSS OF BUSINESS, LOST PROFITS, LITIGATION, OR THE LIKE), SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, PUNITIVE, OR OTHER DAMAGES, UNDER ANY LEGAL THEORY, ARISING OUT OF OR IN ANY WAY RELATING TO THE PRODUCT OR YOUR USE OF THE PRODUCT.

Please note that the hair is 100% natural, and we cannot guarantee that each bundle will be identical to the previous ones, as each ponytail (raw material) is different. Dry, split, or frizzy hair is not a defect – it indicates that the hair is natural and such issues can be resolved with proper hair care products. Additionally, the use of heat styling tools significantly shortens the lifespan of hair extensions. Hair quality may also vary, especially for those with dark or blonde tones (due to chemical processing of the hair). Hair toning can also dry out the extensions.

To address such situations and check hair quality, we invite you to visit us in person at Aleksandra Čaka Street 33, Riga, or send the hair to us via parcel locker. The quality check involves washing and drying the hair. If no defect is found during the service (using suitable hair care products), the service cost (ranging from €25 to €50) is covered by the client. However, if a defect is found, the hair will be replaced and the service cost will be covered by MELLA.lv. (This solution is based on our experience that, when washed and dried correctly using appropriate products, there is usually no defect, and our stylists' time is still spent.)
