Hair Extensions with Sew-In (Hollywood) Technique – Anna Jurovska (LV, RU)
The course will be taught in Latvian and Russian (with oral explanations, presentation in Latvian).

Anna obtained her hairstylist qualification in 1996. Since 2004, she has been teaching coloring at the SIM Sensitive company. In 2010, Anna completed Balmain hair extension courses in Finland and has been working at the "MELLA.lv" salon since 2010. Anna specializes in various hair weaving techniques and is the MELLA.lv salon’s TOP master in the Sew-In (Hollywood) hair extension technique. She knows how to find solutions for each client and has extended the hair of many Latvian celebrities using the Hollywood technique.

The MELLA.lv Hair Extension Center has been successfully operating in the hair extension industry since 2009 and is a leader in the Baltic region, both in terms of a wide store assortment and a broad hair extension salon segment.

We have decided to share our knowledge accumulated over many years of working with clients in hair extensions, removals, and prevention, offering high-quality and comprehensive hair extension courses. On average, we serve 30 clients per day (around 7,200 clients per year), and our experience is immense.

Course Description for Group Training:

1. Hair Extension Industry: Factory Work, Industry "Secrets", Hair Processing.
2. Hair types, thicknesses, and cuticle directions. 
3. Product quality and price relationship.
4. How to distinguish natural hair from synthetic hair.
5. Service cost calculation and pricing. (Points 1-5: Video lecture by Gunna Martinesa-Serrano, owner of MELLA.lv).
6. Variety of products in the store. 
7. Hair selection, variety of tools used for this extension method. 
8. Advantages and disadvantages of the method. 
9. How much hair is needed for one client.
10. Hair care at home (client consultation). 
11. What can cause hair and weft slippage – mistakes by the master/client? 
12. Hair coloring before extensions. 
13. How to create Ombre, balayage color techniques. 
14. How to create streak effects, mixing hair tones. 
15. Tool disinfection. 
16. Workplace cleanliness. 
17. Client evaluation. 
18. Size of used hair wefts, size adjustments, weft assessment. 
19. Ergonomics of the master’s workspace, layout. Sectioning lines, securing hair. 
20. Hand technique in braiding.
21. Scheme/layout types. 
22. Hair extension with various tones. 
23. How to trim the client's and extended hair after hair extensions.

Choose the course type that suits you best:

1. Group training (2-4 people), 6-7 hours, practice on a mannequin head – 350 EUR, if you come with a friend- 300 EUR each;

2. Individual training – 400 EUR (one day).
