Hair Extensions with Standard, Micro Capsules, "Pearl" Technique, and UV Light (V-light) Extensions by Instructor Ginta Rācene (LV, RU)

The course will be taught in Latvian and Russian (with oral explanations, presentation in Latvian).

Ginta has been the manager of the MELLA.lv salon and store since 2014. She provides an individual approach to each client, creating works of art by adding hair extensions like a jeweler. Ginta genuinely cares about her clients hair, ensuring it grows, recovers, and stays undamaged during the hair extension and wear process. She regularly enhances her qualifications, attending training with world-class experts in the industry, while actively staying up-to-date with all industry news and tips. Ginta has also obtained a hairstylist qualification. She is the salon’s TOP (leading) specialist in capsule and micro-capsule extension technologies.

The MELLA.lv Hair Extension Center has been successfully operating in the hair extension industry since 2009 and is a leader in the Baltic region both in terms of a wide store selection and a broad range of hair extension salon services. We have decided to share our knowledge accumulated over many years of working with clients in hair extensions, removals, and prevention, offering high-quality and comprehensive hair extension courses. On average, we serve 30 clients per day (approximately 7,200 clients per year), providing extensive experience. The instructors for the courses are selected from the team – the most experienced and professional TOP specialists in the respective technologies.

Course Description for Group Training:

1. Hair Extension Industry. Factory work, industry "secrets," hair processing.
2. Hair types, thicknesses, cuticle directions.
3. The relationship between product quality and price.
4. How to distinguish natural hair from synthetic hair.
5. Determining service costs and pricing. (Points 1 – 5: Video lecture by Gunna Martinesa-Serrano, owner of MELLA.lv).
6. Store product variety. Hair selection, tool variety used for this extension method.
7. Advantages and disadvantages of the method.
8. How much hair is needed for one client.
9. Hair care at home (client consultation)
10. What can cause hair to slip out?
11. Mistakes made by the master during extensions – why can hair slip out?
12. Hair coloring before and during the wearing of hair extensions.
13. How to create Ombre and balayage color techniques.
14. How to create streak effect, mixing hair tones.
15. Tool disinfection.
16. Workplace cleanliness.

Choose the course type that suits you best:

• Group training (2-4 people), 6-7 hours, practice on a mannequin head – 499 EUR;

• Individual training – available only after completing the in-person course (by arrangement with the instructor), practice with your own model – 80 EUR/hour. (On average, new hair extensions take 2.5-3 hours, prevention 4-6 hours).
