  • lv Ltd tape in extensions ( mati ar līmlentēm / volosi dla lentocnoje narasivanije) are for professional use only, applying them yourself or going to an untrained hairstylist will result in improper application and the extensions will not work properly. Please use a certified professional to ensure that this product lasts and works properly. MELLA.lv Ltd will not refund any orders for issues with slipping.
  • lv Ltd will only speak with professional hairstylists with valid hairstylist and hair extension specialist ( specialized in certain hair extension technology) license for all issues regarding slipping.
  • 14-day return policy begins from the day your order is delivered.
  • lv Ltd assumes no responsibility for merchandise damaged or loss by carrier handling the returned merchandise.
  • You will be responsible for paying all return shipping costs.
  • Allow up to 1 week for the credit to appear on your statement.

 

2.Personal Information

All personal information you provide us with or that we obtain will be handled by MELLA.lv Ltd as responsible for the personal information. The personal information you provide will be used to ensure deliveries to you, the credit assessment, to provide offers and information on our catalog to you. The information you provide is only available to MELLA.lv Ltd and will not be shared with other third parties.

 

3.Payment

All products remain to MELLA.lv Ltd property until full payment is made. The price applicable is that set at the date on which you place your order. Shipping costs and payment fees are recognized before confirming the purchase. If you are under 18 years old you must have parents' permission to buy from MELLA.lv Ltd.

All transfers conducted through MELLA.lv Ltd are handled and transacted through third party dedicated gateways to guarantee your protection. Card information is not stored and all card information is handled over SSL encryption. Please read the terms & conditions for the payment gateway choosen for the transaction as they are responsible for the transactions made.

All major Credit and Debit Cards and PayPal are all acceptable methods of payment. Our Terms are payment in full prior to shipment of any products. All goods remain the property of the Company until paid for in full.

  1. Return & Exchange Policy: ALL HAIR EXTENSIONS ARE FINAL SALE. Once opened, the hair cannot be returned or exchanged for any reason.This is according to Regulated Hygiene Laws, hair extension exchanges and returns must have the seal intact and not broke, no exceptions can be made. Our packaging is clear and you can see the color without needing to open it. You can also purchase a color ring or a sample of the color. Absolutely no exchanges or returns of opened packages are possible.

We will gladly accept any  exchanges within the 14-day purchase period, provided the item has not been used or opened. All exchanges are required to meet the return standards. Exchange requests must be made within the 14 days of delivery. Per hygiene laws and for sanitary purposes, we cannot accept returns/exchanges on hair that has been used or opened because it is a real human hair product. The customer is responsible for return shipping and will be charged EUR 15.00 for shipping in European Union and a EUR 30.00 fee for international shipment to exchange the product.

MELLA.lv Ltd does not exclude liability for any damage caused due to improper installation. After the sale we are not liable for any defects, damages, or misuse of products. MELLA.lv will not be held responsible for any damages caused to the client’s hair during and/or after the hair extension application process. All stylists and consumers agree to use MELLA.lv products at their own risk. MELLA.lv will not be held liable for any costs associated with the installation or removal of the product, no exceptions.

 

  1. ELIGIBILITY TO PURCHASE

We may refuse to process a transaction for any reason or refuse service to anyone at any time at our sole discretion. We will not be liable to you or any third party by reason of our withdrawing any merchandise from the Site whether or not that merchandise has been sold, removed, or edited any materials or content on this Site, refusing to process a transaction or suspending any transaction after processing has begun.  Furthermore, you agree that we may use Personal Information provided by you in order to conduct fraud checks. Usually orders have been shipped out on the same business day at 15.00 o’clock, but it may take 1 business day to process your order. Custom orders take 1 week to prepare and ship. MELLA.lv Ltd does not take responsibility for products that are lost or stolen after they have shipped with proper tracking.  We are not responsible after we have shipped any items. Please contact carrier for any lost packages. We are not responsible for the postal carriers.

All prices indicated on this website do not reflect any or all of the international duties, taxes, or other customs charges that the package may encounter when it arrives in its final destination.

It is advised that you use a color ring to select your colors. We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colors of our products that appear on the Site. Information is required to provide direct cooperation – processing of the orders, delivery and invoice administration and/or the establishment and maintenance of employment relationships. Scope of document application

Personal data is any information about an identified or identifiable natural person – client, co-worker, employee, job applicant or company visitor of SIA ‘‘MELLA.lv’’. The privacy policy is applied for the provision of privacy and personal data protection regarding:

The purpose of personal data processing

Rolling processes personal data for the following purposes:

  • For the provision of services and for the sale of goods:
    • for customer identification;
    • for preparing and signing agreements and/or invoices;
    • for the supply of goods and/or provision of services;
    • for the execution of warranty liabilities;
    • for customer service;
    • for reviewing and processing claims;
    • for customer retention, loyalty, satisfaction surveys;
    • for payment administration;
  • for the provision of SIA ‘‘MELLA.lv’’ service quality, for reviewing and processing claims within phone call records. Call records are stored for one month. After the end of this period SIA ‘‘MELLA.lv’’ provides full automatic data deletion.
  • Within video surveillance for the safety of SIA ‘‘MELLA.lv’’ property and for the safety of persons, for the elimination of thefts and fraudulent activities in the SIA ‘‘MELLA.lv’’ territory and premises, for the recording of criminal offences, for the identification of potential offenders. Within video surveillance the data is stored for one month. After the end of this period SIA ‘‘MELLA.lv’’ provides full automatic data deletion, if these data have not been requested before or if no criminal offences have been stated. If data has been previously requested by competent state or local government authorities or if criminal offences are detected, data is stored according to necessity.
  • For the provision of information to state regulatory institutions and the subjects of emergency operations in cases and to the extent as provided by external regulatory enactments.
  • For other specific purposes, which the person is informed about at the moment when the relevant data is provided to SIA ‘‘MELLA.lv’’.

Processing of personal data

SIA ‘‘MELLA.lv’’ processes personal data using the capabilities of today’s technology, taking into account the existing privacy risks and the available organisational, financial and technical resources.

Personal data can be transferred to trusted service partners, who provide specific services, such as providers of resource planning systems, undertakings providing security and safety services.

Categories of recipients of personal data

SIA ‘‘MELLA.lv’’ does not disclose personal data or any information obtained during cooperation to third persons, except for:

  • if the data must be provided to the relevant third party within a signed agreement, in order to implement any function required for the performance of the agreement or legally applied (for example, to the bank within a settlement, to a courier service for delivery of the order outside the SIA ‘‘MELLA.lv’’ delivery area, to the provider of a resource planning system for the purpose of data storage and processing, to the security company within video surveillance for the provision of safety);
  • to persons provided by the external regulatory enactments upon their reasonable request, in accordance with the procedure and amount as provided for by the external regulatory enactments;
  • in the cases specified by the external regulatory enactments, for the protection of the legitimate interests of SIA ‘‘MELLA.lv’’, for example by appealing to a court or other public authority against a person, who has violated its legitimate interest.

Period of personal data storage

SIA ‘‘MELLA.lv’’ stores and processes personal data, while at least one of the following criteria exists:

  • only as long as the agreement signed with the person is in force;
  • kwhile in the order as provided by the external regulatory enactments SIA ‘‘MELLA.lv’’ or the person can exercise its legitimate interests (for example, file a complaint or bring an action in court);
  • while one of the parties has a legal obligation to store the data;
  • as long as the consent of the person for the processing of personal data is in force, unless another legal basis for processing is in place.

After the above mentioned conditions expire, personal data is archived, deleted, or liquidated.

Access to personal data and rights of another person

A person has the right to receive information specified by the regulatory enactments regarding the processing of his/her data.

In accordance with the regulatory enactments, a person also has the right to request SIA ‘‘MELLA.lv’’ give access to his/her personal data and to request that it is supplemented, corrected or deleted, or the limitation of its processing regarding the person, or the right to object against processing (including the processing of personal data based on the lawful (legitimate) interests of SIA ‘‘MELLA.lv’’) as well as the right to data portability. A person may apply for the exercising of his/her rights:

Upon receiving a person’s request for the exercising of his/her rights, SIA ‘‘MELLA.lv’’ verifies the identity of the person, evaluates the request and enforces it in accordance with the regulatory enactments.

SIA ‘‘MELLA.lv’’ replies to the person via registered mail or e-mail using his/her provided contact information, taking the method of receiving the reply indicated by the person into account as far as possible.

SIA ‘‘MELLA.lv’’ ensures the execution of data processing and protection in accordance with the requirements of the regulatory enactments and in the event of a person’s objections, takes the reasonable measures to resolve the complaint. However, if it is not possible, the person has the right to contact the supervisory authority – the Latvian Data Protection Inspectorate.

SIA ‘‘MELLA.lv’’ executes communication on the performance of the service agreement on the basis of the signed agreement and/or issued invoice (for example, coordination or modification of service delivery, billing information, etc.).

Commercial messages

SIA ‘‘MELLA.lv’’ can use personal data in marketing and communication activities to provide a person with information about up-to-date offers and news that might be of interest to the person. A person may refuse to receive these promotional items at any time in one of the following ways:

  • using the automated option provided in the commercial communication to refuse to receive further notifications by clicking on the waiver notice at the end of the relevant commercial communication (e-mail);

SIA ‘‘MELLA.lv’’ terminates the sending of commercial notifications, as soon as a person’s request is processed. Processing of the request can take up to one business day.
